I write fiction about women in midlife – making new rules, fighting for our families, falling in love, out of love…losing ourselves, reinventing ourselves. Empty nests, full hearts. Ravening appetites. 

My books are set in the British countryside, and explore the class divide, families, motherhood, the slipperiness of truth.
