I am not your muse is about Sophie, the wife of a fading literary star, who discovers her husband has stolen her most private fantasies to write his new book.
The story unfolds over the August weekend of the Alderton’s Silver Wedding Party, when the Alderton’s teenage children find the ARC copies of William’s book, and Sophie realises William’s betrayed her. Although Sophie herself, is no stranger to behaving badly. She’s forced to weigh up her own deceits against William’s, and decide whether to save her family, or destroy her marriage.
